When I got my rental car (see below), my first thought was, hey, this is about the size of Marie's car in the Bourne movie. Then naturally at that point I started looking around for Matt Damon or some other well-built government agent who, despite being a seasoned assassin, was really just a good guy trying to find himself.
The man never materialized (story of my life), so I had to be satisfied with zipping around Salt Lake (this little sucker has great zipping power- all those rogue agents missed out) on my own.
I gotta be honest, I never really felt that bad for Jason Bourne. I felt worse for all the poor bystanders whose possessions were destroyed in his car chases. I mean, sometimes they were in third-world countries. Those people can't afford to be replacing cars and stuff. My favorite part, of course, is in the second movie where he causes a huge car pile-up during a car chase scene while trying to find a girl to apologize to her for killing her parents. AHHH, what about those people in the cars?! hmm, have I blogged about this before.
This trip I also stopped in at Temple Square where I took a couple pictures, dodged sister missionaries, did half of a tour of the conference center, and felt awed by the temple, as I always do.
All in all, a pleasant trip.
Oh, and school was nice.
