That's right, I stole it.

One of my friends did this, so I'm copying it. I thought it looked like fun and I love books, so how could I resist.

1. Do you remember how you developed a love of reading?
My parents. My mom used to sit outside our rooms at night and read LOTR to us as we fell asleep. Plus, we lived in Europe and television was pretty limited.

2. What are some books you loved as a child?
Boxcar Children. The Famous Five. The Black Stallion.

3. What is your favorite genre?
I love children and teen literature. Unless it's based on a true story, I don't like overly depressing books.

4. Do you have a favorite novel?
I love Persuasion and Jane Eyre

5. Where do you usually read?
Wherever I can plant myself. I get crabby if people interrupt me while I read, so I like spots where I'm away from human traffic.

6. When do you usually read?
Anytime. Typically in the afternoon after work.

7. Do you usually have more than one book you are reading at a time?
No. Almost Never. Once I open a book it's just me and the book. Nothing else exist.

8. Do you read nonfiction in a different way or place than you read fiction?
Does anyone?

9. Do you buy most of the books you read, or borrow them, or check them out of the library?
I buy most of them. I should go to the library more. I order a lot off of Amazon and Ebay. I just discovered a used book store near my work. The employees are a little odd and there are books piled up everywhere, but I think I may be my favorite place now.

10. Do you keep most of the books you buy?
Yes. I hate throwing books away. Maybe I'll sell my duds to the used book store.

11. If you have children, what are some of the favorite books you have shared with them?
I try to get my niece to read my favorite childhood books, but she isn't interested.

12. What are you reading now?
I just finished a book and am now bookless. I hate that.

13. Do you keep a To Be Read list?
No. Once in a while I'll get online and look up other people's book lists. When i need a book I either peruse the stores or I get on Amazon and browse through books.

14. What's next?
I'm not sure.

15. What books would you like to reread?
If I'm in the mood for a book, I'll go ahead and reread it. Sometimes I'll just reread my favorite parts.
