I just got back from a trip to southern utah. But i'll write about the trip another time. When I can add pics. Someone pointed out that I never did write about DC, so I'll do that soon too.
But today I felt like a bit of rambling. I found a modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice on line. I couldn't finish it. Lizzy and Darcy hook up at the beginning, so the rest of the book appeared to be like a soap opera, with outrageous misunderstandings and circumstances being thrown at them. (Unfortunately, no one got amnesia. Of course I never finished it, nor plan to.)
But on a happy note, I found another Shannon Hale book and read it. It was lots of fun.
Then, late last night after finishing her book I started Howl's Moving Castle. It's pretty good. One of those books I can imagine reading many times.
I'm fairly anti anime, so I never saw the movie, but maybe I will now.
Anyway, I'm excited to see how it ends, so I'm going to use the rest of my break to read it.
